Zenaida Navarro serves as the NICH Interventionist Supervisor with the Pediatric Complex Care team under the Office of Population Health. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from CSU Northridge with a special interest in pediatric healthcare. In 2017 she began her career in the medical field working for a non-profit that provides multilingual, full-scope health care services to all patients regardless of their income level or insurance status. She joined NICH at UCSF in 2020 as an Interventionist and was promoted to the Supervisor role in 2023. She loves working closely with families in her community that are in most need of support. She is committed to using her clinical and advocacy skills to advance health equity in her community. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and pup, listening to Bad Bunny, and hiking all over the Bay Area.
