Avi Tutman, MPH, MBA
Manager, Risk Adjustment
Avi Tutman is the manager of Risk Adjustment at the UCSF Health Office of Population Health. In this role, he oversees risk adjustment efforts for the UCSF ambulatory population. Avi also contributes to enterprise efforts in value-based pay-for-performance programs. From 2020-2022, Avi supported UCSF’s enterprise COVID-19 response with analytic strategy for vaccine operations, executive communications, and reporting to governmental agencies. Avi is an alumnus of UCSF’s Administrative Fellowship program, class of 2018-2020. Prior to UCSF, Avi worked at McKinsey & Company, a management consulting firm, and for a quantitative hedge fund as an analyst. Avi holds an MBA/MPH dual degree from Yale University and a BA in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Outside of work, Avi loves being creative and participates in theater, creative writing and music composition.
